Trent has been part of Sweeney Townsend ever since he can remember – his father was a founding partner. Trent likes variety in what he does, so he gets involved in everything from home insurances to forestry and heavy machinery.

Client relationships and continuity are important to him – many of his clients have known him for decades. This is especially useful at claim time, because he has such an inside knowledge of his clients and their businesses.

“I like to take the time to sit down and go through things,” says Trent. “The difference with Sweeney Townsend is that we get to know our clients and understand their businesses. That means that we are better equipped to advocate for them if the worst happens.”
